Frances Preece Ostler, a former resident of Salt Lake City, living with her daughter in Rancho Bernardo, California, passed away December 22, 1990.
She was born on July 27, 1899, in Salt Lake City, to Parley P. and Harriet Schettler Preece. Married Brig. Gen. H. Lynn Ostler (U.S. Army) in Santa Ana, California in 1924; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He predeceased her in 1965.She is survived by daughters, Mrs. A.B. (Pauline) Blakemore, Jr., Rancho Bernardo, California; Mrs. Marvin T. (Lynnae) Emery, Salt Lake City; five grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack Preece, St. George, Utah.
Funeral services Friday, December 28th, 12 noon, Yale 2nd Ward, 1431 Gilmer Drive. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary 260 East South Temple on Thursday evening 7 - 8:30 pm, and at the Ward, Friday, 10:45-11:45 am.
