The one-way operation of 200 South between State and Main streets for the next six months won't affect existing bus stops on the block, the Utah Transit Authority said.

But eastbound buses 8 and 132 will jog south on Main Street to 300 South then north on State Street back to 200 South because of the westbound one-way traffic. The bus stop between State and Main on 200 South has been closed since construction began on the north end of Block 57, UTA said.Salt Lake City officials said the change to westbound one-way traffic on the block is necessary to make room for construction of ramps to an underground parking facility for the Utah One Center building and Block 57 Plaza.
