Dr. D. Corydon Hammond was elected president-elect of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Hammond, a psychologist, will take office in 1992 as president of the 4,000-member organization of physicians, psychologists and dentists who use hypnosis.Hammond holds the status of diplomate in clinical hypnosis from the American Board of Psychological Hypnosis and is the author of three books on hypnosis.

He is an associate professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine and is also co-director of the Sex and Marital Therapy Clinic.
