Leslie Leo Long, 73, died December 20, 1990 in Mesa, Arizona.

He was born March 11, 1917 in Fargo, Oklahoma to Herbert Charles and Berniece Cocanower Long. Married Elaine Busk October 18, 1941 in Salt Lake City. He had been employed at Geneva Steel retiring in 1977. Veteran WW II, Japanese prisoner of war. He loved traveling, fishing, reading, and building. Survived by wife, American Fork; daughter and two sons, Peggy Narhuminti, Perris, Calif.; Richard C. Long, American Fork; Mark C. Long, Mexico; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, December 27, 11 a.m., at the American Fork 3rd Ward, 198 West 300 North. Friends may call Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or Thursday, at the church one hour prior to services. Burial in the American Fork City Cemetery.
