Students in junior and senior high school are invited to enter the seventh National Writing Contest on the Holocaust. The topic for 1991 is "What are the Lessons of the Holocaust for Americans?"

The contest memorializes the deaths of approximately 6 million Jews and other groups under Nazi hands during World War II. Students can enter in Division 1 for grades 7 and 8 or Division 2 for grades 9 through 12. The deadline is Feb. 22, 1991. Winners will receive free trips for themselves and their parents to Washington to attend special remembrance ceremonies.Entries may not exceed 2,000 words and must be typed, double spaced on one side of a page, accompanied by a title page with the student's name, grade, home address and telephone number; school name, address and telephone number and teacher's name.
