Richard F. Erdmann, founder of Wasatch Education Systems, 5250 S. 300 West, has been named acting chief executive officer, replacing William G. Anthony, who has resigned to pursue other interests.
Erdmann, who has been chairman of the board for the past three years, said he intends to structure the company to run as efficiently as possible to meet 1991 goals and beyond. He said that under Anthony's direction the company strengthened its management team and experienced dramatic growth in revenue and customer base.Company officials also announced that Cowsy Wadia has been elected chairman of the board. Wadia is a partner in the venture capital firm Technology Funding, San Mateo, Calif., which is a major stockholder in Wasatch Education.
Wasatch Education develops and markets fully-integrated learning systems for elementary and secondary markets and for adult basic education programs.
