Twenty-seven people were killed in 24 accidents on Utah roads in November, the Utah Highway Safety Office says.

The totals were higher than the same month last year, when 18 accidents killed 18. But for the year, 1990 has so far been an improvement in highway fatalities. As of the end of November, 248 people died in 219 traffic accidents, compared with 279 killed in 248 accidents over the same period last year.Of the 27 killed last month, one involved a motorcycle, one was a three vehicle accident, five involved pedestrians, 11 were one-car accidents, and nine were two-car collisions.
