Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, Arthur A Cardona, passed away this day, December 20, 1990, at a local hospital.
Born November 18, 1920 in Jerome, Arizona; parents deceased. Married Della Rivera July 6, 1940 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Member of the Catholic Church, Saints Peter and Paul Parish. Veteran of World War II. Retired after 36 years as a coal miner in East Carbon County. Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the VFW.Survived by wife, three daughters and one son, Pat Martinez, Della Martinez, Virginia Leyba, all West Valley City; Tom, Riverton; also survived by nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Al, Jr., Grand Junction, Colo.; Robert, Redondo Beach, Calif.; six sisters, Lupe Harris, San Maria, Calif.; Marge Unfer, Des Moines, Iowa; Esther Lopez, Nampa, Idaho; Molly Miller, San Maria, Calif.; Ruth Vega, Carmichael, Calif.; Betty Escobar, Santa Barbara, Calif.; also numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11 a.m., at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 3580 West 3650 South, WVC. Vigil service will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m. also at the church, where friends may call Saturday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Committal service, Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
