City officials will hold a public hearing to discuss modification of the city's electrical rate structuring during its meeting Wednesday.

The city has been discussing the rate structure for the past month, and Electrical Superintendent Ronnie Crump and Councilman Brent York have been researching the matter.Also during the meeting, which starts at 7 p.m., the council will hold a public hearing for resident input for potential Community Block Development Grant projects - federally funded projects for low- to middle-income housing areas.

The council also will review a Strawberry Water Users proposal for storage sites for the city's pressurized irrigation system project, which voters approved during this year's primary elections, consider an annexation request into Utah Transit Authority service and investigate solutions for the city's downtown pigeon problem. The meeting will be held at the Payson City offices, 439 W. Utah Avenue.
