A load of supplies ranging from A to V - antibiotics to vitamins - will be shipped to Poland, thanks to Intermountain Health Care and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The shipment, 31 pallets worth of donated pharmaceuticals, medical and surgical supplies, topped with quilts, blankets and clothing, is part of an international relief effort. The supplies left Salt Lake City Wednesday en route to a Los Angeles port, then a 22-day sea voyage to Gdynia, Poland. The shipment will then be distributed through relief agencies in Katowice, Poland.
