Alpine School District Wednesday will release the results of the statewide testing program that the district administered in October to fifth-, eighth- and 11th-grade students.

This is the first year that all districts were required by the state to administer the same norm-referenced test, the Stanford Achievement Test 8. The results will show the scores from each school in the district, and state and national averages. In other business, the school board will discuss a possible increase in school-lunch prices. The board will also hear a proposal to build a regional service center. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at board headquarters, 39 North Center, American Fork. The first part of the meeting is reserved for public comment on any item of concern.
