Merilyn T. Angerbauer, 58, died at home Dec. 15, 1990, after a courageous struggle with cancer.

Born Sept. 14, 1932, in Salt Lake City, to Roscoe M. and Kathryn Nyland Tew. Served a mission for the LDS Church from 1955 to 1957, in Germany. Married Lawrence Angerbauer Sept. 1, 1964, in the Salt Lake Temple.She achieved her life's goal with her husband of raising six children (five sons, one daughter) to lead upright lives, four sons already having served LDS missions. She was an accomplished organist and pianist. From her early youth she displayed an interest and talent in music, which she instilled in the lives of her children.

Her example of selflessness, faith and cheerful endurance has strengthened all who knew her.

She is survived by: her husband, Holladay; sons, George and wife, Michele, Provo; Michael, Provo; Jaren, Rexburg, Idaho; Jeffery and Mark, both of Holladay; a daughter, Julie, Provo; a grandson, Jacob, Provo; a sister, Marion Barlow, Brigham City; two half-sisters, Evelyn Beagley, West Valley City; Marion Macken, Colonial Heights, Virginia; a half-brother, Robert Terry, Clinton.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 21, 1990, at 11 a.m., in the Holladay 27th Ward, 5450 Holladay Blvd. Friends may call at the MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, Thursday evening, from 6-8 p.m., at the church one hour prior to services. Burial, Bountiful City Cemetery.
