Asentha Skousen Walser, 98, died December 17, 1990 in Orem.
Born November 20, 1892 in Colonia, Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Daniel and Melvina Greer Skousen. Married Alma Walser, January 1, 1917 in Colonia, Juarez. Marriage later solemnized Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 1981.Survived by four sons and four daughters, Walter A. Walser, Mapleton; Roy S. Walser, D. Stansel Walser, both of Fall City, Washington; Kenneth Walser, Mayfield; Mrs. Alvern W. (Asenath) Davis, Bear River City; Mrs. Max R. (Lucile) Brown, Provo; Mrs. Robert E. (Helen) Wells, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Keith (Melba) Allan, Valencia, California; 46 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother and eight sisters, Lester P. Skousen, Leah O'Donnel, Willmirth Whetton, all of Mesa, Arizona; Hannah Call, Colonia, Dublin, Mexico; Viva Brown, Provo; Mrs. LeRoy (Rita F.) Johnson, Colonia, Juarez, Mexico; Rowene Stein, Hawthorne, California; Mrs. Dale (Pearl) Farnsworth, Snowflake, Arizona; Mrs. Tom (Nylis) Johnson, Phoenix. Preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Olsen, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday, 2 p.m., Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, where friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., or Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment: Eastlawn Memorial Hills, Provo.
