Carl Melvin Marlowe, 77, died December 17, 1990 in Provo, Utah.

Born July 6, 1913 in Seattle, Washington, to Charles and Marie Paulson Marlowe. Graduate of the University of Washington. He was a professional baseball player in American Fork, Salt Lake and Tacoma, Washington. He was a retired Postal Worker after 30 years of service. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church. He loved flowers, gardening and hunting.Survived by two sons and a daughter, Daniel M. Marlowe, Highland; Timothy M. Marlowe, and Diana Fox, both Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, 11 a.m. in the Highland 6th Ward Chapel, 5335 West 11200 North, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Mt. View Estates, Sandy, Utah.
