Ethel Caroline Gunderson Jarrett, 88, loving wife, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away December 16, 1990 in Nephi, Utah.
Born February 11, 1902 in Mt.Pleasant, Utah, to Erick and Cecelia Frandsen Gunderson. Married Irvin Jarrett, of Nephi, February 22, 1928, in the Manti LDS Temple. She attended schools in Mt. Pleassant and graduated from North Sanpete High School. Active member LDS Church, served in various capacities. She worked at the Juab County Hospital for 17 years. Throughout her life she loved helping and caring for others.Survived by her husband, Nephi; three children, Mrs. Kenneth (Ranee) Kay, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Price, both Salt Lake City; Eric Jarrett, Nephi; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Doris. She was the last member of her family and was preceded in death by two brothers, Vern and Curtis Gunderson, two sisters, Alta Monsen, Ada Blackham.
Services 12 Noon Thursday, December 20th, Nephi 2nd Ward. Friends may call Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, and at the church one hour prior to service. Burial: Vine Bluff Cemetery.
