Pete Rose is betting his future is in Florida.

The fallen baseball star plans to move with his wife, Carol, and their son, Tyler, 5, to Boca Raton after paying his debt to society for failing to report income on his tax returns."He wants to get his life together," Rose's manager, Bill Hayes, told the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel.

Rose, who was banned from baseball for life for his gambling habit, is scheduled to be released from a federal corrections center in Marion, Ill., on Jan. 7. He then must spend three months in a halfway house and perform 1,000 hours of community service in Cincinnati before he can head to Florida.
