Lester Turner's 3-pointer with seven seconds remaining lifted Dixie College to a 86-85 victory over nationally-ranked College of Southern Idaho and a two-way tie for the lead in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

Turner's basket provided the win Saturday over 2nd-ranked CSI in St. George, Utah. Dixie had beaten Treasure Valley 119-88 behind Cliff Reed's 24 points Friday night to remain unbeaten at 3-0 in league play.The Rebels occupy the league's top spot with Ricks College, which beat North Idaho College 115-96 Saturday night in Rexburg, Idaho. David Mortensen had 26 points for the Vikings, while Felix McGowan scored 30 for the Cardinals and Donald Perritt had 26.

Southern Idaho, dropping into a two-way tie for third place in the league with Utah Valley, was paced by David Anderson's 33 points in a 98-85 win at Snow College Friday night.

Utah Valley's Kevin Nixon scored 29 in a 112-59 win against Colorado Northwestern in Orem, Utah, on Friday, and logged 25 points in a 104-68 win against the College of Eastern Utah Saturday night.

In other games, Salt Lake beat Colorado Northwestern 93-84 and Snow beat Treasure Valley 90-69.
