Byron Nelson Parker, age 89, died December 13, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born October 16, 1901 in Joseph, Utah to Joseph Faulkner and Adelia Cooley Parker. He married Edna Matilda Dalton in Richfield, Utah on July 19, 1924. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Bryon was a Veteran of World War I.Survivors: wife, Edna, Sandy; four sons and two daughters, Trent and Edna Parker, Maxine Parker, Byron M. and Joyce Parker, all Salt Lake City; Doris and William Payne, Las Cruces, New Mexico; Scott Parker, Orange, California; Gregory and Jeanine Parker, Norman, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Don Davis, Salt Lake City; 35 grandchildren and 79 great-grandchildren; brother, Ariel Parker, Joseph, Utah. Preceded in death by daughter, Mercedese Davis; grandson, Joe Davis; granddaughter, Brenda Payne Clifton; also 15 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 18, 1990, at 11:00 A.M. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel 8090 So. State St., Midvale, where friends may call Monday 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 A.M. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4100 South 4400 West.
