The Christensen Centre, 4880 S. 70 East in Murray, will present "A Christmas Fairy Tale" on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 21 and 22, also on Wednesday through Saturday, Dec. 26-29, all at 7 p.m.

The holiday entertainment, written and choreographed by Ala Chernova, employs classical ballet, drama and comedy to tell an intriguing story in which justice prevails and good wins over evil. It is set in the times of castles, kings and queen, princes and princesses, and costumed accordingly, and should appeal to audiences of all ages.Chernova, Kirov-trained and a former member of the Odessa Ballet, migrated from Odessa in the Soviet Union just over a year ago. She is now a full-time instructor at the Christensen Centre.

Tickets are $3, and may be purchased in advance at Wright Costume and Dancewear, 4902 S. State, or at the Centre.
