Bonnie Blair won the women's 500-meter race and finished third in the 1,000 meters Saturday at the Speed Skating World Cup.

Blair, the 1988 Olympic gold medalist in the 500 meters and bronze winner in the 1,000, was timed at 1 minute, 23.08 seconds. Blair, who is from Champaign, Ill., won the 500 in 40.57. Hashimoto was second in 40.87, and Kyoko Shimazaki third in 40.91.
