Byron Rigby Davis, age 69, passed away December 13, 1990 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born June 2, 1921 in Bern, Idaho. Married Peggy Rae Black September 23, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He graduated with a B.S. Degree in Accounting from the U of U. Veteran World War II, where he served as an Air Force Navigator. Retired after 30 years of service with U.S. Forest Service. High Priest in the Union 21st Ward. He had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed sharing it with family and friends. He was respected and loved by all who associated with him. He was a great neighbor and friend. He will be sincerely missed by his loving companion and sweetheart.Survived by wife; daughter, Mrs. Michael (Jane) Cederstrom, Riverside, California; three sons: Robert B. and wife Gayle, El Toro, California; Don H. and wife Bonnie, Salt Lake City, Utah; Ted B. and wife Andrea, Berkeley, Michigan; mother, Pearl Davis Michaelson, Logan, Utah; 16 grandchildren; two brothers: David H. Davis, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Ray Davis, Georgetown, Idaho; sister, Bernice Pendrey, Montpelier, Idaho. Preceded in death by an infant sister Mildred.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m., December 18, 1990 at Union 21st Ward, 1834 E. Creek Rd (8000 So.). Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive and Tuesday at the ward 9:45-10:45 prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
