Keith Andrew Madsen, 59, of Brigham City, died Thursday, December 13, 1990 in a Salt Lake City hospital.
He was born January 17, 1931 in Manti, a son of Stanford and Grace Andersen Madsen. He married Merilouise Hansen on June 8, 1956 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was reared and educated in Manti and graduated from Snow College and the Utah State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed at Thiokol Corp. as a chemical engineer for 31 years. He enjoyed reading, hiking and genealogical work. He loved people and was well respected and loved by everyone who knew him. He was an active member of the LDS Church and had served as Stake Historical Clerk and as Ward Clerk to several Bishops.Surviving him are his wife of Brigham City, and four daughters, Charlene Madsen of Brigham City; Mrs. Philip (Diane) Audet, Houston, Texas; Mrs. David (Elaine) Gurney, Brigham City; Mrs. Jeff (Laura) Wells, Willard, a grandson, Andrew David Gurney, Brigham City.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Alton (Barbara) Oviatt, Bozeman, Montana; and two brothers, Von Madsen, San Ramon, California and Lee Madsen, Whittier, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, at 11 a.m. in the Brigham City LDS 24th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Dr. Friends may call at the Olsen-Myers Mortuary, 205 So. 100 East, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Interment: Brigham City Cemetery.
