Leo F. Johnson, 80, passed away Monday, December 10, 1990 in Oceanside, California, after a brief illness.

He was born December 19, 1909 in Laketown, Utah. He married Lucille Evans, June 25 ,1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He was a teacher and had taught school in Castledale, Laketown, Garden City, as well as serving as principal. He also taught in Millville, Hyrum and Smithfield, and was principal at Logan High School from 1962-72. He retired from public education in 1975, after 46 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille; and their three children, Boyd and Betty Johnson, Laughlin, Nevada; Ellsworth and Pat Johnson, Tustin, California; Linda and Frank Hess, Oceanside, California; three sisters, Oreta Satterthwaite, Logan; Marguerite Caldwell, Logan; Fern Hunter, Cedar City, Utah; one brother, Max Johnson, Mesa, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday evening, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment: Logan Cemetery.
