Milo Kay McKell, 56 of Kearns, died Wednesday, December 12, 1990 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.
He was born May 27, 1934 in Spanish Fork, son of Milo E. and Vera Kay McKell. He married Nancy Lou Peterson on Sept 19, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were later divorced. He then married Darlyne Fay Grice Jones on September 29, 1984 in the Oakland LDS Temple. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School and attended the Provo Tech for two years. He also attended Salt Lake City Trade Tech for 2 years. He worked at Kennecott Copper in Salt Lake City for 30 years. He belonged to the Local Steel Worker's Union. He was a Journeyman Machinist and Journeyman Mechanic. He enjoyed auto mechanics and farming. He has lived in Spanish Fork for most of his life, except for the past four years he has lived in Kearns.Survivors include his wife of Kearns, four sons: David Kay McKell, Mapleton; Douglas Lynn McKell, Salt Lake City; Randy Scott McKell, Springville; Richard Brent McKell, Spanish Fork; eight grandchildren; two stepchildren: Orval Lee Jones, Santa Cruz, Calif.; Kent David Jones, Brookings, Oregon; one sister: Mrs. Bert (Delores) Aitken, Lake Shores.
Services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. in the Walker Mortuary Chapel, 187 So. Main, Spanish Fork. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
