Dr. Michael J. Preece, a Salt Lake cardiologist, has been installed as the Salt Lake County Medical Society President. He succeeds Dr. Thomas L. Jones.
Dr. Richard H. Keller, a radiologist, is the society's new president-elect. Other elected officers include Dr. Deborah F. Robinson, secretary, and Dr. Gregory A. Schwitzer, treasurer.At its annual meeting this month, the society presented a media award to Michele Stratton, director of public affairs and special projects at KTVX. She was honored for her work on a documentary about teen alcohol abuse that first aired on Channel 4 in August.
