It's 13 days before Christmas, and Salt Lake Community Action Program is still looking for people to donate gifts for 300 needy families.

New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and G.I. Joe toys, dolls, clothes, games, stuffed animals, tapes, cassette players, bicycles, skate boards and other items are all on the children's Christmas lists. Food items like ham and turkeys are also needed for food boxes.If you have time, Salt Lake Weavers has free yarn available in their store for knitting hats and gloves to donate to SLCAP. They are located at 1227 E. 3300 South.

SLCAP is also accepting cash donations and will shop for items that haven't been donated.

Donations need to be taken to SLCAP, 764 S. 200 West, before Dec. 18. On Dec. 19 and 20, parents will pick up the Christmas presents.
