Joseph Willard Taylor, age 78, passed away peacefully,December 11, 1990, at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born April 3, 1912, Kimball, Idaho, to Joseph B. and Margretta Thomas Taylor. Married Iola Draper, March 3, 1938, Salt Lake City, Utah; later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple.He was a cable tester for Mountain Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co. for more than 37 years. A devoted family man, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and spent many an hour on the streams with his children and grandchildren. He was dearly loved and his passing leaves a great void in our lives.

Survivors include his wife, Iola, Salt Lake City; a son, Dale (wife Bonnie) Taylor, also Salt Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Lourene) Walters, Soda Springs, Idaho; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandson; three brothers, Vaughn, Milton and Kenneth Taylor; and two sisters, Gwendelyn Johnson and Madeline Handy. Preceded in death by two brothers, James and Bob.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 15th, 11 a.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Sunset Gardens of the Valley.
