Julia E. Field, age 82, died December 12, 1990 in a local hospital.

Born May 10, 1908, Alabama, daughter of Edward and Alice Gertrude Wimpey Hood. Married Frank G. Field November 4, 1928 in Provo, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She loved music and taught piano for many years and was an avid gardener. Former member of the Lady Lions in the Bountiful Lions Club.She is survived by children, Elbert Hood, Provo, Utah; Shirley Ferrin, Rock Springs, Wyoming; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren;, brother and sister Horace and Carol Hood, Ogden; Mildred and Wayne Madsen, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by her husband in 1972 and son Ramon E. Field, 1974.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, 1990, 11 a.m. in the Bountiful 36th Ward Chapel, 1400 South 100 East. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary Chapel, 295 North Main, and Saturday at the church 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
