Holy Cross and St. Benedict's HealthWorks Rehabilitation Centers, which are owned and operated by Holy Cross Health Services of Utah, have achieved the state's first accreditation in the area of work hardening.

Work hardening is the area of occupational rehabilitation that assesses impairments of injured workers and provides treatment to return employees to work.Dr. John Bender said the accreditation rating is the first for the specialty in Utah. It was earned after a thorough review of programs, procedures and personnel of HealthWorks facilities in Salt Lake City and Ogden by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
