Hazel Huff Oberg, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died December 8, 1990 at Palmer, Alaska.
She was born September 26, 1894 in Lake Shore, Utah a daughter of William E. and Sarah (Sadie) Tippetts Huff. She married Carl H. Oberg, March 10, 1917 in Provo, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died July 27, 1978. She served as a Relief Society president and in various other positions in the LDS Church. She was loved by all who knew her.She is survived by her five children; Russell Oberg, Dallon Oberg, Clyde Oberg, all of Alaska; Dee Oberg, Hawaii; one daughter Mrs. Ervin (Wanda) Hartner, Salt Lake City; preceded in death by a daughter, Thelma Hoff; also survived by 20 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nell Peterson, Melba Armstrong, Millie Nielsen, all of Salt Lake City; Iva Maland, Spanish Fork; Doris Judd, Sacramento, Calif.
Funeral services will be held in Palmer, Alaska on December 12, 1990. Additional funeral services will be held, Saturday, December 15th at 12 noon at the Huff-Linde Funeral Home, 519 North Main, Spanish Fork. Friends may call at the mortuary from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday. Interment, Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
