A judge granted a divorce Tuesday to Donald and Ivana Trump, citing the millionaire developer's "cruel and inhuman treatment" of his ex-wife.

Mrs. Trump, supported by her lawyer Michael Kennedy, fled the Manhattan courthouse in tears after the divorce was approved.State Supreme Court Justice Phyllis Gangel-Jacob granted the divorce in response to a petition by Mrs. Trump. The judge said her decree was "based on Mr. Trump's cruel and inhuman treatment such as made it unfair or improper to continue to be married." Trump had a much publicized affair with would-be actress Marla Maples in the past year.

The judge said all other issues such as maintenance, child support, equitable distribution and the validity of any pre- and post-marital agreement will be decided at trial, unless they are otherwise resolved.

No date was set for such a trial. The couple has three children.
