Betty Rose Sorensen Carroll, loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to all, died at her home in Covina, Los Angeles County, California on December 9, 1990 following a lengthy illness.

Born January 10, 1930 in Bingham, Tooele Co., Utah to Harold Beck and Annie Mable McDaniel Sorensen. Raised in and around the Salt Lake area. She married Jack Willard Carroll September 27, 1947 in Park City, Utah. The family moved to the Los Angeles area in 1952 and settled in Covina in 1954, where they have lived since.Survived by husband Jack, Covina; sons and daughters, Harold H. (Skip), Jackie L. Farmer, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; John M., West Valley City; and Gary K., Kearns; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; mother, Annie Mable McDaniel Sorensen Aplanalp, El Monte, Calif.; brother, Harold Verdell Sorensen, Salt Lake City; sisters Donna D. Sweatfield, Kamas; Patsy J. Jaureguy, El Monte, Calif.; and Renay Rose, Los Angeles, Calif. and half-brothers, Buddy R. and Randy G. Sorenson, Salt Lake City.

Funeral Services Thursday, December 13, 1 p.m., in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 South State, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
