A jury Tuesday found Kevin Richardson, 16, guilty on all counts including attempted murder and rape and his co-defendant Kharey Wise, 18, guilty of sexual abuse and assault in the brutal attack on a woman in Central Park.

The verdict set off a screaming, emotional scene in the State Supreme Court in Manhattan during which Richardson's mother collapsed and the judge cleared the courtroom before the jurors could be polled. The screaming and cursing members of the family spilled out into the hallway and continued for minutes.

The victim was found comatose, muddy and bloody in a ravine below the jogging path around 1:30 a.m., about four hours after the attack. The nearly dead woman lost three-fourths of her blood; her skull was broken, her left cheekbone crushed; she had cuts, scratches and bruises all over her body.

This was the second trial in connection with the attack on the female jogger and two men the night of April 19, 1989.

Antron McCray, Yusef Salaam, and Raymond Santana, all 16, were convicted Aug. 18 of rape, assault and other charges. All were sentenced in September to five to 10 years in prison.

Steven Lopez, 16, is the last to face charges in connection with the assaults. His trial is scheduled for early next year.
