The Utah Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks has received $1,100 as part of the national group's community enhancement program.

Coupled with $4,900 the chapter raised in a charity golf tournament earlier this year, the group will present $6,000 to Murray Mayor Lynn Pett sometime in the next two weeks. The money will be used to build a footbridge over the Jordan River near the Murray Golf Course as part of the Provo-Jordan River Parkway.Barry Nash, chapter president, said several communities presented proposals to receive financial help for a community project and chapter officials selected Murray.
