A Mexican national stopped for erratic driving Friday was being held after Utah Highway Patrol troopers reportedly confiscated cocaine and cash in his car.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers arrested the 35-year-old man, who was being held in the Washington County Jail on $500,000 bond pending an arraignment in 5th Circuit Court.The patrolman who stopped the suspect's car about 7:40 a.m. Friday just south of St. George said he believed the man was driving under the influence. He said the car also had an expired registration and was registered to another man, from Bell Gardens, Calif.

A search of the car turned up 4 kilograms of cocaine worth $200,000 and $84,000 cash in compartments in the rear of the auto.
