The Davis School District's Adult High School Program has introduced a "competency-based" education program for adults who want to earn credit toward a high school diploma.

The courses are self-paced and are presented in a simple computer format. Students, after being evaluated by a computerized test, follow a series of computer-aided instructional units.Other high school courses are offered for adults in Davis County. Students interested in earning high school credits or improving skills in a particular subject can participate in classes at Bountiful, Clearfield, Layton or Viewmont high schools. These courses are open to anyone and are free of charge.

For information about any of these programs, call Sandra Tsushima at the district, 451-1110.
