Lois LaRue Tuttle, age 74, passed away December 7, 1990 in Salt Lake City.

Born April 26, 1916 in Pleasant Green, Utah, to Edgar A. and Pearl Spencer Tuttle. Married Elmer Wilford Carlson in 1938, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in 1972. She dedicated her life to the LDS Church, serving a mission to Florida (1974-1976), teaching in all of the auxiliaries, and was an avid Temple worker. She was a talented author and song writer and had several songs and poems published.Her children and grandchildren were the delight of her life. Survived by 3 sons, Dennis Carlson and wife Jeneale of Orem, Utah; Edgar Carlson and wife Fay; Calvin Carlson and wife Shirley; two daughters, Carolyn Roberts and Mrs. Don (Estella) Williamson, all of Salt Lake; 27 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. A sister, Mary Brown and a daughter, Sherma preceded her in death.

The family would like to express their appreciation and love to Arthur and Lois Hardman for their loving care during her final years.

Funeral services Tuesday, December 11th, at 12 Noon, Valley View First Ward, 2000 East 3900 South. Friends may call Monday evening 6-8 pm at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and at the Ward on Tuesday, 10:45-11:45 am. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
