The Pleasant Grove Police Department has arrested two juveniles and five adults in connection with a dozen burglaries that occurred during the past week.
Items were reportedly stolen from schools in Pleasant Grove and American Fork as well as from businesses in the American Fork, Pleasant Grove and Orem areas.Several of those items, including $450 in cash, were recovered during a search of a Pleasant Grove apartment complex. The seven people were arrested without incident Wednesday, Pleasant Grove Police Chief Michael Ferre said.
One of the juveniles was released into parental custody, while the other was booked in the Utah County Youth Home. All five adults were booked into the Utah County Jail.
Ferre said his force is working with both the American Fork and Orem Police Departments on the investigation, and he anticipates several other people may be arrested in connection with the crimes.
