A grand jury handed up indictments Thursday against two men charged with robbing or attempting to rob two First Security banks in November.

The jury charged David G. Gilstrap with one count of robbery, accusing him of taking $803 from First Security Bank, 2001 S. Main, Salt Lake City, on Nov. 13.If convicted, Gilstrap faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

James Edward Dolan is charged with one count of attempted robbery, accused of trying to take $12,000 on Nov. 16 from an employee of First Security Bank, 79 S. Main, Salt Lake City.

If convicted, Dolan faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
