Sydney Pollack's "Havana," starring Robert Redford, will have a gala Salt Lake premiere Tuesday, Dec. 11, in the Capitol Theater as a benefit for the Sundance Institute.

The evening will begin with a reception and dinner at the Marriott Hotel honoring Redford and Pollack, who will later introduce the film at the Capitol Theater."Havana" is a romantic drama co-starring Lena Olin, Alan Arkin and Raul Julia, set during the last eight days of the Batista regime in 1958, with Redford playing a gambler caught up in the revolution.

Admission to the reception, dinner and premiere is $150 per person. General admission tickets to the Capitol Theater screening only are $15. For further information, phone 328-FILM.
