Lillie (Lillian) White Mayhew Ferrin passed away peacefully Friday, December 7, 1990 at Alta View Hospital in Salt Lake City.

She was born November 6, 1911 in Utahn, Utah to Elijah Walker and Rosetta White Mayhew. She married Clarence S. Ferrin on October 5, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 13, 1975. She lived most of her life in Pleasant View where she was a member of the LDS Church, serving in various church callings. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and served as secretary on the board of the North Company.She will be remembered for her poetry and compassionate service.

She will be missed by her children, one son and three daughters, Raymond C. Ferrin and wife Suzanne, Clearfield; Carolyn and Joseph Fletcher, Riverton; Rosalie and Richard Jolley, Torrance, Calif.; Colleen and Douglas Wilson, Eden; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, R. May Foote, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Mac (Fay) Wade, Pleasant View.

Funeral services will be held Monday, at 1 p.m., at Lindquiest's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd, with Bishop Kent Cragun of the Pleasant View 1st Ward conducting. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday, from 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, North Ogden Cemetery.
