Beloved mother and friend, Isabella D. Kirkman Cox, age 82, died Dec. 5, 1990, at her residence in Milford.
Born March 3, 1908, in Sunnyside, Utah, to James Wallace and Christina Carolina Kocherhans Kirkman. Married William Harris Cox July 20, 1927, in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death November 9, 1967.She was a past president of the Union Pacific Old Timers Club, Unit #33. Member of Daughers of Utah Pioneers, and an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a Primary teacher and visiting teacher.
She is survived by: Three children, Dr. William Wallace (wife, Lena) Cox, Northbend, Oregon; James Henry (wife, Diana) Cox, Sandy; Veda Cox, Milford; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lula Ransom, Bountiful; Veda Abendroth, Falls Church, Virginia; Margaret Blakley, Wood Bridge, Calif.; Julia Larson, Coloma, Calif.; she was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Lee Cox, Sept. 9, 1935.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, in the Milford LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, at 1 p.m. Friends may call Friday, 6:30-8 p.m. and Saturday, 11:30-12:30 p.m. at the Olpin Mortuary in Milford. Interment, Milford City Cemetery.
