The Women's Research Institute and the Center for Studies of the Family at Brigham Young University are jointly sponsoring an international conference on "Gender and the Family" on Feb. 6, 7 and 8.
The conference, scheduled for the BYU Conference Center, is a series of paper presentations/discussions and panel discussions presented by specialists from throughout the United States and several countries.The three-day conference will include topics such as historical perspectives on gender and the family, the law and gender and the family, fathering in the family, and gender issues related to family violence and care of the elderly.
A registration fee of $75 will include all sessions, conference refreshment breaks and a conference dinner on Wednesday. BYU faculty members may attend the entire conference for $25.
