The fifth annual Southern Utah State College "Messiah Sing-In" will be held Sunday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in Thorley Recital Hall.

The annual Christmas sing-in is sponsored by the SUSC music department. Those wishing to participate in the chorus need to bring their own scores, said Bart Shanklin, director of choral activities. All members of the civic orchestra and others who have played in the "Messiah" before are invited to participate.The following numbers will be performed: "And the Glory of the Lord," "O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings," "For Unto Us a Child is Born," "Glory to God," "Behold the Lamb of God," "And With His Stripes We Are Healed," "All We Like Sheep Have Gone Astray," "Worthy is the Lamb" and "Hallelujah Chorus."

Soloists and orchestra will meet from 5 to 6 p.m. for a rehearsal in the recital hall. All participants need to be at Thorley Recital Hall as near to 7 p.m. as possible.
