Charolette Iverson, a Pleasant Grove High School student and a Girl Scout for 10 years, will go to Mexico for the Diamond Jubilee International sponsored by the Guias de Mexico Girl Scout Council.
Twenty girls from 16 states and Mexico will participate in the special event. Iverson was chosen by the Girl Scouts of the USA to be an American representative based on her years of experience, accomplishments and leadership skills. She has been recognized with the "Today's Girl Scout, Tomorrow's Successful Woman" award and scholarship and has served in various leadership positions.She is the daughter of Cathy Iverson and is active in several school organizations. She represented her school at Girls State and Engineering State.
