President Howard W. Hunter of the Council of the Twelve, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was in good condition Tuesday morning at LDS Hospital where he is being treated for pneumonia.

The 83-year-old church leader, who has been president of the Council of the Twelve since 1988 and who earlier was acting president of the Twelve, "was admitted to the hospital Saturday morning and is doing fine," said Jerry P. Cahill, a church spokesman, said Tuesday morning.
