William Harold Waldburger, 70, Salt Lake City, died at his residence Dec. 2, 1990, of natural causes.
Born May 17, 1920, Olympia, Wash., son of William Frank and Mary Helen Martin Waldburger. Married Doris Phelps May 7, 1949, Salt Lake City. Retired from Smith Machinery Co. after 27 years of service. Veteran of Army Air Force, World War II. Was present at Pearl Harbor Dec. 7. Member, First United Methodist Church, where he was head usher for 15 years. Member, United Methodist Men's Club. He enjoyed walking. Was dearly loved by his family and neighbors.Survived by: Wife, Doris, daughters, Diane Waldburger Jaber and Karen Waldburger, all Salt Lake City; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Susan Waldburger, South Bend, Indiana; granddaughter, Adia Waldburger; sister, Phyllis Anderson, Olympia, Wash.; sisters-in-law, Ruth Eloise Smith, West Valley City; Miriam Thurston, Destin, Florida; Gladys Jennings, Vancouver, Washington; brother-in-law, Donald L. Phelps, Downey, Calif.
Funeral services Wednesday, 2 p.m., at 1st United Methodist Church, 100 So. 200 East, where friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment, Veteran's Section, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
