George Willis "Farmer" Smith, our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away December 2, 1990, of natural causes.

Willis, a longtime resident of Stockton and well-known businessman and politician, was born August 8, 1911, Lincoln, Utah, to George William and Eliza Mabel Goodridge Smith. Married his lifelong sweetheart, Margaret Hale, June 17, 1931, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served as Tooele County Commissioner six terms. He loved mining, hunting, football, and the outdoors. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Beverly Renneau, Stockton; sons, Roland R., Highland; Richard L., Tooele; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Roland G., Grantsville; sisters, Ellen Greathouse, Los Angeles, California; Bertha Wilson, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie, a son, Willis Riley, and a granddaughter, Trudy Smith.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 5th, 11 a.m., Stockton LDS Ward. Friends may call Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main, Tooele, Tuesday, December 4th, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior Wednesday, at the church. Interment: Tooele City Cemetery.
