Janet Ruth Romney Call, age 59, died December 1, 1990 in Salt Lake City.
Born November 10, 1931 to Gordon M. and Elizabeth Wilson Romney in Silver City, Nevada. Married Roger W. Call, June 22, 1966 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. She was previously married to Robert C. Crockett who preceded her in death.An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also a graduate of the University of Utah, and a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Enjoyed art and music. Her church service was that of many positions in music, teaching and supervision. She and her husband served a mission for the church, presiding over the Brazil Sao Paulo South Mission from 1984 to 1987.
Survived by her husband Roger Call; three sons and five daughters, Robert Dale Crockett, David Romney Crockett, Brian Roger Call, Karen Beth Crockett Stepanicich, Elizabeth Crockett Ball, Lisa Call Humphries, Laura Call Johnson, and Michelle Call; 15 grandchildren. Also survived by one brother and two sisters, Gordon Wilson Romney, Charlotte Beth Romney Mullen, and Francis Yvonne Romney.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 1990 at 11 a.m. at the Monument Park 8th Ward Chapel, 1794 Texas Street. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South. Interment, Wasatch lawn Memorial Park.
