Brigham Young University will sponsor its first annual Tree Fest Dec. Tuesday, Dec. 4, through Friday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Wilkinson Center West Patio.

About 50 trees will be decorated by on-campus clubs for the event, after which the trees will be donated to needy families."The trees were provided by BYU Student Life and the names for the needy families were provided by a list from BYUSA's Sub for Santa program," said Vincent Jenkins, BYU's Student Service Association executive vice president for university relations.

Becky Taylor, an administrative director for BYUSA, said, "The Tree Fest is a way to show the community what quality service the on-campus clubs do, not only for students, but for the community."
